On June 9, an online meeting was held with the Russian Trade Representative in Austria, Alexander Potemkin, and the Austrian Trade Adviser in Russia, Rudolf Lukavsky.

The conversation between the Sales Representatives aroused great interest among our audience. The topics raised by the moderators covered various areas of international activity of Trade Delegations. Mr Potemkin and Mr Lukavsky told the audience about the formats of business missions in both countries, including assistance to new companies to enter the Russian and Austrian markets, business support measures, as well as opportunities and prospects for companies from different sectors of the economy to work in the two countries. Certainly the discussion also covered the challenges faced by the economies of Russia and Austria as a result of the pandemic. Mr Potemkin and Mr Lukavsky also spoke about the potential of bilateral relations, highlighted the most relevant areas of interaction and areas for the development of cooperation.

The event is part of a series of meetings between representatives of Russian and Austrian business circles, organized by the Russian-Austrian Civil Society Forum "Sochi Dialogue" in cooperation with the MGIMO School of Business and International Competencies.
