On December 14, an online lecture by A. S. Samsonov, CEO of Felder Group Russia, was held on the topic "Management in the face of uncertainty. Growth points during the COVID-19 pandemic."

During the lecture, A.S. Samsonov spoke about the company Felder Group, which today is one of the leading engineering companies in the field of wood processing and composite materials. The company has developed and produced more than 180 machine models. Now the company's head office has more than 650 employees and hundreds of dealer and service centers around the world. Felder Group Russia has been operating since 2009 and is a representative office of the Austrian plant Felder KG (Austria).

The listeners learned about the challenges faced by the company and the industry as a whole during the COVID-19 pandemic and about the measures that were taken to minimize the consequences of the crisis. In addition, the speaker highlighted the topic of decision-making and risk management in a constantly changing environment as well as the difficulties of predicting the impact of external factors and the creation of new growth points.

The event was organized with the support of the Russian-Austrian Civil Society Forum "Sochi Dialogue" together with the MGIMO School of Business and International Competencies. The lecture was moderated by Sergey Proskurin, member of the Coordinating Committee of the Sochi Dialogue Forum, Manager of the Investment and Capital Markets Department, KPMG in Russia and the CIS.
