Famous artists sing on the Austrian channel ORF III

Organized jointly with the Vienna Opera, the concert on Sunday, April 19 (20.15 on ORF III and Radio Ö1) will open a series of three musical evenings in an online format in the studio of the Cultural House of Radio ORF. The series originated at the initiative of ORF III and in collaboration with, among others, the Vienna Opera, the Vienna People's Opera and the "United Stages of Vienna" under the motto "We perform for Austria".

Favorite artists like Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov, Juan Diego Flores, Valenitina Nafornice, Tomas Konecny, Elena Maksimova and Yongmin Park will perform arias and duets from the opera and classical repertoire, as well as songs from their native countries. The program will be supplemented by video clips with Jonas Kauffman, Peter Bucalo, Andreas Sager and Lidia Baich. The musical accompaniment is provided by the String Quartet of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as by Jendrik Springer (piano). The program will be led by the host of the program "Erlebnis Bühne" (Meeting with the Stage), Barbara Rhett, Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz will be the radio commentator.

The three concerts, which will be held under the strictest security measures in the studio of the Cultural House of Radio ORF, will be broadcast as part of the program "Erlebnis Bühne with Barbara Rhett". On April 26, the event will be held under the sign of operetta with the Vienna Folk Opera, and on May 3 – under the sign of musicals together with the United Stages of Vienna.

The concerts will be streamed online, after which they will be available for seven days as video on request worldwide (concert on April 19), as well as throughout Austria (concerts on April 26 and May 3) in the ORF media library. https://TVthek.ORF.at.
