The musical evening "Russia-Austria", which represents the cultural part of the Sochi Dialogue Civil Society Forum, was held on May 15, 2019 and was the conclusion of the meeting of the Sochi Dialogue Forum Coordination Committee. In a joint concert of Russian and Austrian musicians, popular works of the musical heritage of both countries were performed. The concert was organized by the Park of Science and Art "Sirius" and was led by the artistic director of the St. Petersburg House of Music, People's Artist of Russia Sergey Roldugin, who participated in the event. The concert was performed by: - Soloists of the St. Petersburg House of Music R. Islyamov (violin), F. Amosov (cello), A. Telkov (piano); - Soloists of the Anton Bruckner Private University (Linz, Austria) P. Horaisk and M. Frauscher, conductor-Deputy Director of the Anton Bruckner University, Professor T. Kerbl; - Sochi Symphony Orchestra, artistic director and conductor A. Lubchenko.

About the first Russian-Austrian forum “Sochi Dialogue”:

The Russian-Austrian bilateral forum "Sochi Dialogue" is a platform for direct contacts and communication between representatives of civil societies of Russia and Austria. The organization of the forum in June 2018 was agreed upon by the Presidents of both countries, Vladimir Putin and Alexander van der Bellen.

The inaugural meeting of the Russian-Austrian forum will be held in Sochi in mid-May. The work of the forum will be developed in four priority areas: art and culture, science and inter-university cooperation, economy, and sports.

The Sirius Science and Art Park is a multifunctional public space created to promote science and high technology, music and art, located in the building of the former Main Media Center of the Olympic Games. One of the key tasks of the Park is to introduce he world masterpieces of classical music and ballet to the residents and guests of Sochi.
