The Russian-language edition of the book by German historians Reinhard Otto and Rolf Keller "Soviet Prisoners of War in the German concentration camp system" has been published with the financial support of the Russian-Austrian Civil Society Forum "Sochi Dialogue".
The presentation of the book will take place in 2021, and a preliminary agreement has been reached with the authors to hold a series of lectures.
"Most of the circulation of the book "Soviet Prisoners of War in the German concentration camp System" will be donated to city libraries and higher educational institutions. The remaining copies will be available for purchase through the publishing house "Aspect Press", - reported the Russian Embassy. The presentation of the book in Russia was planned for 2020, but was postponed to 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The presentation of the book in German took place in Vienna on December 9, 2019. Then the Russian Ambassador to Austria, Dmitry Lubinsky, said that the embassy was working on translating the book into Russian.
