Gastronomic Journey in German. Weinland Österreich" at the M.I. Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature
On May 23, 2023, with the informational support of the Russian-Austrian Public Forum "Sochi Dialogue", the Center for Cultural and Educational Programs of the M. I. Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature hosted "Gastronomic Journey in German. Weinland Österreich."
"GastroReisen mit Irina Klimenko" is an unusual insight into the gastronomic and everyday features of the regions of Germany and Austria, as well as a good opportunity to improve your German language skills.
"A little body often harbours a great soul". This is a short but clear description of the Austrian wine industry. The participants of the event refreshed their knowledge of gastronomic and winemaking vocabulary, and at the same time learned about the dramatic history of Austrian winemaking.
The moderator was Irina Klimenko - gastronomic journalist, restaurant critic, translator, head of international projects in the publishing house "PRESS", co-author of the gastronomic guide "Burgenland. Reds and Whites". Author of numerous texts and translations of publications in travel magazines.
