At the festival, children who were born deaf or completely lost their hearing in early childhood will show their talents in singing, poetry, dancing and playing musical instruments.
Can they hear? Yes! All of them hear with the help of cochlear implants - devices that replace hearing. Every child who was born deaf or lost their hearing can get such an implant for free! Every year, the state allocates more than 1,000 quotas for such children.
Certainly, after the operation, rehabilitation is necessary - learning to hear with a "new ear". But it is worth it! Children with cochlear implants (CI) go to secondary schools together with ordinary children, and also develop their talents even in the musical fields!
