Delegation of students of the "Sochi dialogue" at Viennacontemporary 2019

On September 25-27, students from Russian universities visited the Viennaconteminary contemporary art fair. The visit was organized at the invitation of Dmitry Aksenov and with the support of the Russian-Austrian civil society forum "Sochi Dialogue". The students represented MGIMO University, Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts, Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Moscow Architectural Institute, Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

Within the framework of the fair, the Culture 5.0 conference was held, dedicated to the integration of culture into science, business and politics. The exchange of ideas, the search for ways of fruitful cooperation, the development of new formats of interaction between specialists from different fields, the involvement of patrons and investors are just some of the tasks set by the organizers and participants of the conference. Russian students took part in one of the sessions of the conference - CultTech Lab Vienna. “The main idea of the session is the integration of new technologies into art. The interpenetration of these two seemingly incompatible realities of our lives was the main topic of discussion. The inclusion of technology in all areas of everyday life is already an irreversible process, and sooner or later art will also feel the influence of this trend. Austria today is the center of technology education in culture, " says Sofia Kurenkova, a student.

At the CultTech Lab Vienna session, innovative pilot projects - Konzerthaus and Enhancing artistic innovation - were presented. They aim to improve and modernize the existing ways of selling tickets, attracting new audiences, visiting various cultural venues and interacting with the audience. Student Alexandra Melnikova spoke with representatives of the Cryptotickets project and shared her impression: "The idea of introducing a common database for online ticket sales originated in Moscow, as there was no analogue of such a platform in Russia. The project has been developing for 5 years and in recent years has reached a new European level."
